Audubon Assembly 2007
Scheduled to appear – Carl Hiaasen

Our special guest for dinner on Friday November 2* will be Florida’s own Carl Hiaasen, arguably the hippest guy in the state. Carl is the author of too many great books to name, and since 1985 has been writing a regular column for the Miami Herald. The London Observer has called him "America's finest satirical novelist," while Janet Maslin of the New York Times has compared him to Preston Sturges, Woody Allen and S.J. Perelman.

There’s a lot more we could tell you about Carl, but suffice it to say it should be a most entertaining evening. If you really must know more, visit his website.

* This event is open to the public for $40, but you must pre-register by Oct. 29.
